There have been some suggestions in emails and postings in the forums, that we organize some evening events early in the new year.
The first, and probably the easiest to organize, would be a "chat party". We'd simply decide on a bar to visit and a time to be there, and we'd all show up. There would be no booking of a party room and everything would be entirely unofficial. We'd need some way of recognizing each other, is all - suggestions welcome.
The second would be a houseparty. Several people have offered to host, but naturally there would be a limit to how many could attend. At this point the prospective hosts have indicated that houseparties would be couples-only events, and that members would have to verify that they are indeed couples.

If you're interested in either or both of the above, please let me know by responding to this email. State whether you are male or female or a couple please, and whether you'd like to host. (The suggestions have mainly indicated that the parties should take place after the holiday season, but this needn't necessarily be the case. If some members are interested in getting together earlier, that's quite possible too.)

Now a request from the webmaster. If you have a personal website, a blog, a profile or some other online venue from which you can reasonably link to http://www.fourcities.com please do so. Inbound links improve our search engine ranking, which results in more visitors, which in turn means that more people will see our personal ads. Thank you!

Speaking of which, ads with pictures get the most response. If you're a member but haven't yet set up a profile with a picture, you may wish to consider doing so. They don't have to be face pics or naked pics. Looks matter to various degrees with various couples, and many feel more comfortable connecting with potential partners when they have some idea of size and shape. It's entirely up to you of course, and there's no cost involved in doing it.
